This is a site for prospective students to learn more about the Springboard course in Creative Multi Media Programming running in Limerick Institute of Technology. The course offers the oppurtunity to learn new ICT skills. Skills that are very much in demand by employers in a number of the IT sectors. Twelve modules are covered over the two semesters. In semester one emphasis is placed on learning how to code in HTML and Javascript, using CSS to style. As suggested in the title Creative Multi Media Programming the course also introduces students to Design Theory and techniques. This helps student to gain an insight into how good design and application of design theory can enhance and add visual structure to their work
Introduces students to the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and designing web pages.
Introduces students to shooting videos on DSLR cameras and editing in Premier.
Students will learn how to model, animate, light, texture and render in 3D Studio Max..Exciting stuff..!!
This module introduces and teaches students how to build, interact, maintain and use Database systems such as SQL.
This module asks student to get in touch with their more creative side using the Adobe Software packages.
Students work during the Summer as an intern, getting real life experience and skills
Human Cognition and Communication studies adds theory and structure around how we interact with the world and each other.
Self directed module where students get to show case the skills and insights they have gained on the course.
A more technical approach to Interaction Design through the use of use cases , personas, user interviews and implementing in app design
Introduces students to the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and designing web pages.
